To consider. Dr. Mary Kay Clark, director of Seton Home School burns no such thing as true homeschool. Feelings of exhaustion (burnout) is by feeling overwhelmed, and caused over your head.
Well, why we overloaded? Therefore, we have-our-head?
In short, we’re back. Behind the drafting of the experience … behind the paperwork … delayed. Our school responsibilities stacked. It is no wonder that we feel torn.

How? How to dig, all the piles of books and papers? Let me fit into one of my favorite ideas that I go every year. Silly, but it came from the movie Galaxy Quest.
“Never give up never surrender.” This is your new motto. So let’s go!
- First, take a moment to reconsider. Sit down and think. Set your priorities. Determine which tasks have a lasting effect, concentrate on. God … Family … Training at home. Other activities have a back or eliminated. Family and real friends understand. Do what you must do.
- Secondly, the destruction of a morning or a day to review homework. Have dad take the kids on a Saturday outing. Ask a relative of the children for a day to see. If it is necessary that someone came home for the young ‘look to pay, so you.
Everything would begin. Take your immediate lesson plans in order. Generally working within a week. And record test results and other necessary qualities. Only a portion of the submitted papers are? (Keep this at least several years. Check your state’s homeschool laws.)
- Thirdly, that plans to stay the course. Certain number of periods per week for school. This is the time spent on teaching your children. Block it out and make permanent arrangements can plan to correct / without interruption. (I have Sunday and Tuesday evening.)
- Fourth, to organize. Decide on accounting and filing systems that work for you. Buy or borrow the necessary equipment. (Plastic containers and trays, file folders, labeled boxes, etc.)
- Fifth, to remove or modify any activities that are time wasters. Do you really need a hot meal to prepare? Maybe take a healthy packed lunch the night before. Better yet, this may be a job for an older child? You will save time for the attention. (I found Grading daily tasks, each child was very valuable to us both.)
If something does not work, try another way … again and again and again. Keep up the good, the bad dump. Never give up never surrender.
Banish burnout homeschool. Did you work every day with a level and stamina. Whatever happens, keep your homework up to date. This is not a cross. Instead, time and effort in the fight for the priceless education at home, you will notice that the crushing, overwhelming burden lifted burnout.
