The Homeschool Advantage – Five Benefits of Home Schooling
Are you frustrated with the results that your children get through their public or private schools? Are you concerned about the training they receive? Have you seen the homeschool advantage?
Think of the advantages of homeschooling. If you need your child the best education through home schooling, you have the advantage of so-called homeschooling. Many universities are enrolling more than happy to house students for classes, because they discovered that these children a better education than students in other forms have the education.
As a graduate of homeschooling, as homeschooling parents, I have little experience in this area and have to mention here, the five biggest advantages of homeschooling:
Home School Advantage No. 1: One of my favorite benefits of homeschooling is flexibility to plan. I love the ability to change things in order if the need arises. There are many examples I could give, but only our homeschool plans a few changes.
I have a 5 month old, and like all mothers know, at this age children do not have it all “sleep at night” which still behind Fr. So the last couple of nights here are pretty much it for me sleepless.
Normally I try the school day began at 7:30 or 8.00 clock in the morning. But because of the weird sleep schedule, I’ve changed more than a starting point from 10.30 bis 11.00 clock.
Sure, the kids get their homework a little later than I would like, but it’s a trade I’m willing to accept. If I can just get an extra hour of sleep, my attitude and level of patience is so much better.
Home School Advantage # 2: Because I the best for my children, I want to be able to choose their curriculum. Why should a teacher or an education advocate for me? You can also academically in school, but I want my child to do well in school.
I know there are exceptions. Not all schools are only focused on grades from the school. But with homeschooling, you can choose what you want to teach your children.
As a Christian, homeschool, this advantage is crucial for me. For example, I do not want my children to learn that we evolved from apes. I want to learn them all theories about the origins of the universe and the possibility, even the most logical theory (not mentioned in the Bible) to be distinguished.
Finally, I want to be in a position to the curriculum, the best to use my children and their learning strengths. In a school system that is simply not possible. Every child in the class taught by the same books in a school environment, whether they are really good to learn this kind of teaching.
Home School Advantage # 3: I want to learn the third advantage of homeschooling, children perform in the position at their own pace. If more than one child, you know how different each of your children. The learning ability of the child are as varied as their personalities varied.
This is clearly the oldest in my family with my two children. One is in third grade and the other in the second. The third-graders have always been a very quick learner. She read on their own in the late first class. They could all her tasks almost exclusively on their own, with only a few issues here and there.
However, my prices are half that read almost all his tasks for him spent. He is able to do the job, but he’s just not at the reading level that I used with my third class. So instead of highlighting, I’ve learned to go at his pace. He is improving daily with his reading, but at a slower pace than his sister.
In a “normal” school setting, my son was once a class is held, or even worse, in a special education classroom. I know that just like in a classroom or not slow down would have really hurt his self-image. He thrives on encouragement and one-on-one counseling was not available to him in a school environment. So the homeschool advantage is invaluable for my son.
Home School Advantage # 4: Did your family move? My family is gone, but we have used with my old man’s labor. He used to go to the conventions of food suppliers to find the gas station, he was an executive. Since my children are taught at home, we had the freedom to use them to travel to these conventions and spend time in hotels.
My kids favorite part was able to taste all the delicacies and of course, be able to swim in the indoor pools at the hotels! My favorite part was able to continue their education while you still spend time together as a family. We bring the books that we have for the few days we were gone necessary. The children had an incentive to complete their school work, so they could go play in the pool. It worked like a charm!
When my children in a “normal” school, we would have missed the fun times. We had to go back when my husband fulfilled his role as leader, because I would not be able to just pull them out of their classrooms for several weeks a year.
Home School Advantage # 5: The home school the opportunity for the extra bonus of close family operated travel. We do not have to be together, because we can bring to school with us.
Now my children are still young then, so I do not know what to do families with older children. My children are not active in all directions with their activities for the kids. But it is not really what I’m talking about, as far as family ties.
What I think is what happens when children are grown and their own lives. How does homeschooling affect this year? Well, because I was homeschooled as a child, I can attest to how close I’m still on my parents as an adult.
I have no experience peer pressure from other children told me how my parents were “stupid” and that she knew nothing. I grew up with a healthy relationship with my parents, unless they knew what was best for me and did their best to homeschool me a favor!
I hope this list is a bit of encouragement, or you think you begin homeschooling, or are you a veteran homeschooler. Knowing the benefits of homeschooling is a good reminder that the work that we need for our children, like it was worth it!
