  • Prepare for ACT and SAT First for College

    One of the most stressful moments of high school teens take the SAT / ACT standardized test. This test is a comprehensive assessment that most of what they learned in school covers. Most of the time, they can not even begin to test a few weeks to prepare before the test date. As a coach I see this over and over again. They call me for last minute preparations when they prepare for the ninth grade. In short, they expect me to ask myself, they try too lazy to work years ago.

    The truth is, must start preparing for the SAT or ACT test many years before testing, actually. The high school students need to achieve goals in preparation for a study. In this sense, the students should examine the high school to work to ensure that they meet the requirements.

    There are a few basic questions that you may determine, if your students are well prepared for these tests.

    - In a tough spelling / vocabulary program for your students to write the class 9? You can store large tools such as spelling and vocabulary city to just use this. Students need to stretch with each new spelling list. I want to use spelling lists for major tests. Remember, spelling and vocabulary preparation for an important part of the ACT tests and Sa

    - Let your students have a clear and concise essays? The introduction of the essay must be at least the ninth grade – I prefer the former. Summary essay in just a few simple steps: Plan for five sections, an introduction – 2 or 3 points on the body / section – and a conclusion that your body confirmed 3 points. An essay must be written by a particular subject or topic statement. The essay is written in 25 minutes, with an example from literature, history and private life.

    - Are you challenging yourself math courses? Do not skimp on mathematical preparation. SAT and ACT test questions mainly from geometry and algebra II uses. If your students thought they would be the easy way and just basic math or accounting, they will not score as high as they could, if they are placed in this area in question. Yes, math is difficult but not impossible. There are many great mathematical exercises, which helps in this difficult spot.

    - If your student consistently read and read critically? Until a student in high school they have avid readers. But not only readers, but readers analyze what they read and think about the underlying themes and motifs and plot projections. Encourage them to think while reading it.

    Preparation for the SAT or ACT is critical for good performance on the test. Take the time to do good homework before the test date.
