Books to Read to Child -Home School Preschool
If you homeschool your child, you are, you will encounter two problems when you teach your child to read, how to keep their attention and how to use them to become motivated readers. By using real books, you can solve these two problems at once.
The best books to use as your child to read (of course) those who want them. Each child has their own unique interests and things they enjoy and like their parents, sometimes we think we know what these are.
Let your child choose their own books
Nothing prevents a child’s attention focused on their reading lesson as reading material that is fun, interesting, and their own choices.
I have this valuable lesson when I decided to buy my son his first book. Like my son is a typical boy robots, aliens, lions and martial arts. So on this day, I took him to our favorite bookstore buy him his first book. Left him with his father, I went to a selection of age appropriate books for him to choose.
Among these was a book about pirates, robots, and on a whim, I chose a pair of Winnie the Pooh books. To our surprise, he chose Winnie the Pooh books, which he absolutely loved and read several times without asking me, even going so far as to various topics on the books continues to gather in his room.
I have since learned that his instincts and intuition and to respect his choice to follow, and he is thoroughly every book he has chosen for himself enjoyed.
Their only consideration is to ensure that you are age-appropriate books for your child to choose and that material that you are comfortable with themselves.
Choose books that your child learns to expand
Reading should not be one-dimensional and should ideally perform different functions. For example, if my son is a better reader and began to read at your own hand he held a number of animals that were purchased books for his advanced age was that he is 5, and the books were better suited for a 10-12 year old .
But when you read that we used was more than half of what they read in books.
But more surprising was that because of his interest in these issues (sharks, bugs, dinosaurs, deep sea animals and dangerous animals), was his knowledge to significantly expand, including learning of the (sometimes very complex) name all these creatures had their eating habits, where they live, continents and oceans, they can be found, etc.
Read on to learn your child with books that interest them and about subjects that they enjoy, they will these books be read over and over again, only not increase their reading skills but also an extension of their encyclopaedic knowledge, which makes your job of home schooling infinitely easier.
