  • Home School Kindergarten – How to Praise Child Bring Best of Them

If you are home schooling, you are your child and teach them to read or write, or in your daily interactions, the way you have praised them a profound impact not only on their numbers, but also the way how they work and putting their trust.

There are two ways for your child, praise, praise, praise her intelligence, or any of their efforts.

Carol Dweck, a psychologist from Stanford University has an insightful experiments on these two methods.

She experiments with children of different ages of those with severe problems from an IQ test. Half were praised for their intelligence, “Wow, you’re so smart!” and the other half praised for their hard work, “Wow, you must have worked so hard!”

Given the choice to work in a difficult task, the first group, who were praised for their intelligence instead turn the occasion, lauded for 90% of the children for their hard work took the opportunity to work on more challenging the task.

    Intelligence praise

If you praise your child’s intelligence, there is nothing they are doing to improve it. It makes them feel good right to encourage, but not better. You will not be happy and praise as unfounded.

The bottom line intelligence can not be improved. What you have is what you always have, and if your child is faced with a particular activity, they are not good, they feel like failures and do not want to continue and try harder.

This also leads to an inflated sense of “look how good I am,” and if it is proved otherwise, it leads to complete destruction.

    Praise hard work

On the other hand, is hard work, something that can be improved and the hard work reflects more hard work. If children are confident in their ability to learn and improve, it is a self-fulfilling prophecy, and learn and improve.

    How this information to use

The best way to use this information when your child read, write, do math, or even play ball, to learn that her brain like a muscle. With a little practice and learning of neural connections stronger and they can learn and improve further.

If your child understands that there is nothing that can not be learned, it opened a world of opportunities for them. You will see that there is nothing they can do, and they will not like new things and learn to do without fear of failure.

If you home school, you are your child, praise is a vital part of your “school” days, and if used correctly, to educate a child who is confident, successful and not afraid to try new things is to to test the final result.
